Blessing of the Waters in 2019 was again a glorious event supported by so many from the town & elsewhere. We were again honoured that the event was held in the presence of the Lord Warden & Admiral of the Cinque Ports, Admiral of the Fleet Lord Boyce.  We were pleased to have present as usual the Mayor of Brightlingsea’s Head Cinque Port of Sandwich, along with other Cinque Port Mayors from Kent & Essex coastal mayors, plus many other supporters of this historic custom.
